More precisely we are going to learn something about human visual perception, and about some principles of visual perception that come into play when we 'read' images. We'll try and understand why and how they work, we'll see how to take advantage of them, improving as side effect our composition technique and effectiveness conveying messages in our photos.
Mind you, these are not the same old composition rules, and they will come most in handy when you try to make juxtapositions in your street photos.
What is a juxtaposition in street photography?
Juxtaposition is a fancy term to say 'connection', 'combination', 'interaction' between elements in the frame. If you look at street photos - especially contemporary ones - you will find that this trick is very often used by the photographers to visually connect unrelated elements and re-frame, re-inter
